Singing Competition

The Inaugural DCSMF Singing Competition

Saturday, June 23, 10.00am, Chadlington Church

Tickets – Free

Many outstanding singers have performed at the Festival over the years including Amanda Roocroft (soprano), Neil Davis (baritone), Nuccia Focile (soprano), Linda Richardson (soprano), and our very own Claire Bradshaw (soprano) and Richard Coxon (tenor). Vocal music is a core passion and central to much of the Festival programming. This year we will further our commitment to the art of singing with an Inaugural Competition open to young singers between the ages of 18 and 28.

Following a fabulous response to the Competition eight singers have been selected to compete for three prizes in the Final Recital on 23 June, which will be adjudicated by our highly experienced panel of experts.
