American mandolinist Travis Finch arrived in the UK in 2006 and has been studying, teaching, performing solo and as a duo with guitar in venues around the country.

He has broadcast on Radio 3 and is the mandolin soloist for the Song of Japanese Autumn and the Klezmer Suite. Together with guitarist Emily O’Hara he is a founding member of Vila Verde, an exciting ensemble specializing in Brazilian Choro music.

Recently he has performed at the Barbican and has also been a featured soloist in both 2009 and 2010 London Mandolin Festivals. Travis studied with Alison Stephens and has participated in Master Class with Israeli mandolinist Alon Sariel, Dutch mandolinist Sebastiaan De Grebber and Venezuelan mandolinist Ricardo Sandoval. He has quickly risen to dizzying heights here in the UK establishing himself as the leading mandolinist in the country.
