2023 Festival
The 2023 Festival was a huge success. With favourite formats, delightful venues, and world-class artists it was a highlight of the summer.
The festival opened on the evening of Friday June 30th with a very special evening of opera by Claire Bradshaw, Richard Coxon and Naomi Harvey in the unique farmyard setting of Bruern Farm.
Saturday morning featured ‘Desert Island Discs’with the entertaining and engaging Charlie Ross of Bargain Hunt fame. In the evening David Juritz led the Festival Orchestra in our Gala Concert set amongst the stunning architecture of St Mary's Church Chipping Norton.
The winners of our Singing Competition on Sunday 1st were Matthew McKinney from Scotland and Aimee Kearney from Ireland. In the afternoon there was an exquisite piano recital by Michael McHale and in the evening the festival closed with an intimate twilight concert by Craig Ogden in the beautiful Spelsbury Church.
The St Kenelm's Concerts are now part of the Dean & Chadlington Summer Music Festival and our next concert is Sunday 8th October.
