Dean & Chadlington Summer Music Festival

The prestigious Singing Competition is one of the highlights of the Festival. It is pitched at emerging artists and judged by eminent operatic experts, with former judges including Dame Ann Murray.  We are delighted that Quentin Hayes (Baritone) will join us as Guest Adjudicator.  The winner receives a judges prize of £2,000 and there is also an audience prize of £500.

The majority of past winners have gone on to have stellar careers.
One such example is Samantha Price, a mezzo soprano, who has gone on to win many accolades and to perform at both the Royal Opera and English National Opera.
